Shahrzad Mazaheri is a costume designer from Iran, currently based in DC area.
Her recent credits include In Clay (Signature Theatre), English (Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park), Wish You Were Here (South Coast Rep), and Someone Will Remember Us (Trinity Rep). Shahrzad was a 2021 Public Works Dallas Design Fellow, a TxETA Scholarship recipient, and winner of the 2021 Maguire Ethics Essay Award for her work on cultural appropriation in media.
She holds an MFA in Stage Design from Southern Methodist University and an MFA in Textile and Fashion Design. Shahrzad is currently a Visiting Assistant Professor of Costume Design at the College of William & Mary.
